Llangollen Railway operates Passenger Carrying Coaches , Freight Vehicles, Departmental Vehicles and Special Vehicles.

Nearly all of these vehicles have been brought to the railway in various states of disrepair. Renovation has taken place originally in the loco shed in Llangollen Yard, then later in the purpose built Carriage & Wagon shop at Pentrefelyn, approx 1 mile west of Llangollen Station.

LLANGOLLEN RAILWAY USES A WIDE RANGE OF ROLLING STOCK ORIGINATING FROM EITHER BRITISH RAIL, OR THE PRIOR “BIG FOUR” OF THE GWR, LMS, LNER OR SR.

A FEW VEHICLES HAVE ALSO SURVIVED FROM PRE-GROUPING DAYS.
